Whittington Countryside and Craft Fair 2010

Companion Dog Show

As per previous years the Companion Dog Show (Held under Kennel Club Rules and Regulations) will take place during the day of the Fair. Please just bring your dogs along and enter. Details below:

Entries taken on the day from 10.30 am
Judging to start at 11.30
Entry – Pedigree classes £2 per class - Novelty classes £1 per class

PEDIGREE CLASSES – JUDGE – To be advised 
(N.B. Dogs need not be Kennel Club registered)

  1. Any Variety Puppy Dog (6 – 12 mths)
  2. Any Variety Puppy Bitch (6 – 12 mths)
  3. Any Variety Sporting          
  4. Any Variety Non Sporting
  5. Any Variety Open

    Dogs that have won any of the following awards are not allowed to enter any of the Pedigree Classes: - Challenge Certificate. Reserve .Challenge Certificate. Junior Warrant

NOVELTY CLASSES – JUDGE – To be advised            

  1.    Best Crossbreed/Mongrel
  2.   Junior Handling ( All entries in class will receive a prize)
  3.   Best Rescue
  4.   Best Veteran ( over 7 years old - Special rosette for oldest dog)   
  5.   Prettiest Bitch
  6.   Handsomest Dog
  7.   Best Condition
  8.   Dog with the waggiest tail
  9.   Dog and handler most alike
  10.   Dog the Judge would most like to take home

Rosettes for:
Best in Show – Reserve,  Best in Show – Best Puppy in Show - Oldest Veteran in Show
