WFEG Big Green Fair
Saturday 6th February 2010 in the village hall 11am till 4pm.
Free event - all welcome. Lots to try, buy, see and do including:
Learn how to ‘Eco-Refurbish’ your home;
Family Fun with special activities for kids;
Try our ‘Green Driving’ simulator;
Meet local food and drink producers;
Free advice & guidance on energy saving and find out more about ‘Greener Living’.
Come along and have a great time!

The Bell Inn Car Park, third Saturday of every month 9am to 1pm.

PTA Race Night
They're under starter's orders! Whittington PTA are holding their annual Race Night this year on 12th March at 7.30 pm at the school. Tickets are £5 and include all the entertainment and a buffet supper from Gourmet Chef To Go. For tickets please phone Cass on 433015.
If you are a local business and would like to support the event but can't be there you could sponsor a race for £30. Email Cass@MyMaths.co.uk for more details.
Whittington Village Hall Committee Beer, Skittles and Quiz Night
This is being held on Saturday April 17th in Whittington Village. Light refreshments are included in this price and Bar prices are reasonable.

Whittington Summer Ball
Early plans are underway for our annual Summer Ball in the village hall, to be held this year on Saturday July 3rd. Champagne reception, followed by 3 course dinner, live entertainment, with Take That tribute act, and disco all included in the ticket price as usual, as well as a photographer, auction, raffle and bar.
Tickets sold out last year within a week of release. Register an interest and reserve a table by emailing Cass Jackson at cass@mymaths.co.uk or phone 0153 433015.
Tickets are £32.50.
All money raised goes to support village groups and organisations through the Parish Council grants scheme.

proudly sporting the Stafford Knot 10am - 4pm
24/25.7.2010 Whittington Wartime Weekend - The ever popular World War Two
event with vehicles troops and civilian re-enactment. 10am - 4pm
25/26.9.2010 500 years of Warfare - A multiperiod event with re-enactments
to suit all tastes. 10am - 4 pm
13.11.2010 Night in the Trenches - Our regular Remembrance event with night
time tours of the trnech system 4.30 - 9pm
11.12.2010 Carols in the Trenches - Carols and readings followed by a
re-enactment of the 1914 Christmas Truce
